Saw this today:

Despite the fact that in the demo video it is clear they have no idea how to use such a sword, Cold Steel has a good rep on knives. May be worth checking out.

Apparently this sword is especially usefull if the hood of your truck REALLY annoys you.

Really, they clearly haven't learned that you don't need to impale your opponent in order to kill them. Just a small hole is all you need, they'll leak the same amount no matter how deep you drive the sword in. And it's so much more efficient if you don't get your sword stuck in the first guy you kill. While you're wasting time pulling your blade out of victim #1, you can easily become victim #2. =P
And the whole car hood thing was just silly!

They need a better copy editor; the description says, “. . . it’s big and meant to be carried over the shoulder in its scabbard. . .” while the narrator in the video explains that a sword like this wouldn't have had one. The narrator also says that the sword comes sharpened (as those bamboo mats can attest; an oddly Japanese test for a decidedly European weapon); I wonder if it can be ordered blunted?
