So, overnight the weather prediction for Sunday has gone from 40% chance of rain to 90% chance of rain. I know most of you are experienced rennies, but for those that aren't, here are some tips for this weekend.
You'll all be in wool, so hopefully folks should be warm enough. But if you're easily chilled (looks at the skinny people), consider packing your cloaks this weekend, as it's only supposed to be in the mid 60s. If you're really easily chilled, wear long underwear under your garb. You can always take it off if you end up too warm.
Bring either a plastic bag or a plastic tub to keep your gear in. If we get too much rain, it will be wet even inside the tents.
If you're feeling adventurous (public showers!), you can bring a towel and possibly grab a hot shower at the end of the day. This is of course, contingent on there being any hot water left at the end of the day.
Bring a change of clothes, including fresh underwear, socks, and dry shoes for the end of the day. This will make your drive home sooooo much better. I can't stress enough, dry socks and dry shoes. Bring them. Don't make me use the Spoon of Doom on you.
