Landsknecht Guild

For those who missed it, on Monday we were hired by the pirates to fight on their behalf in their ongoig fued with the barbarians of the Hitting and Stabbing Emporium. The final agreed fee was a bottle of Pirate Rum, 3 fresh rabbits (for Sunday's lunch!) and the skins of 15 rabbits.

If you have boffer weapons, bring them. If you have polearms, even better!

Usually happens right after closing cannon, or around close.  Last year at least we met in the field behind where the audience sits on our 'stage'.  The pirates were rather disorganized last year so hopefully having us will be of some benefit, even just as a distraction/flanking force. 

As far as the boffer weapons go…  There a few vendors at faire that sell them.

I was thinking we could create a couple makeshift ones out of the kiddie pikes if we were so inclined, sort of a giant q-tip pike?  Granted they will be short but hey it's better than nothing (and last year i used a longsword made of pvc, padding, and duct tape).  This is me speaking from inexperience though so don't get your hopes up.
