Landsknecht Guild

Yesterday Alena and I went into Boston to the MFA to see their exhibit of Albrect Durer prints.  (http://www.mfa.org/exhibitions…..ubkey=8293)  If you have the chance to get into see this before it closes in July, I highly recommend it.  He's working smack in the middle of our time period, and even if you've already spent a lot of time studying his work, it's always amazing to see them in person, actual size.

Our favorite image was this long scene from a book on fortifications.
