I'll be ordering period shears and scissors (look under the cutlerly link) and pouch hardware (under findings) from this Italian site.

Since it's coming from Italy, anyone else want to get in on the order so we can share shipping?
They've got lots of nice stuff on the site (wooden boxes!), although some of it is quite pricy (Platters, copper pots, jewelry).
Alex - medical equipment!
Amanda - Italian coins!
Let me know…. I'll be ordering at the end of the month.

I also found this site has shears and knives as well as nice period looking pouches. (They also have shoes; but since I think most people knew about that and already have those by now, it is not as big of a deal)

I might like to order from the Italian place though.
Also just found this site. looks like some very interesting things here (well, there, in England I think)

Oooh, I love that the English site says what years their items are period for! I get so tired of people who sell “reenactment goods” without giving the dates for their items!
Thanks for the links! I'm sure we'll chat this weekend.

Now is an excellent time to order from the Italian site. According to Reuters, the Euro is at a 4-year low when compared to the US dollar, so you'll get more bang for your buck.

I just realized why this site looked so familiar to me, it's where I pointed the guys from FH to make the medical tools!
