Have people seen this?

(Copied from the journal I found it in.)

The Triumph of Maximilian is online!

And its in color too, although the coloring does not date to the 16th c. :(  It seems that it was colored in 1765 by Josef Hoeger, so the coloring is not original, as I had originally hoped.

However, in glancing through it, Josef Hoeger did a really good job of coloring it in a fashion that *looks* right. There are a few things that strike me as off,  for instance the women's clothing on the last page, but the men look pretty spot on in comparison with other artwork that we know was painted or colored in the 16th c.”

Ou!  Ou!  And a flip book!  The link takes you to page 224 where you see the guy as an adult.  If you go to page 225, the panels open up and he's a kid!

Interesting to see the not standard weapons in the line.  Sword & Bucklers, Quarter Staves, and one of those Tswihanders looks like a training blade.
