What happens when you put the members of the Executive Committee together in one car in Chicago?
They hash out rehearsal dates for the next Guild encampment.
We're having three Saturday rehearsals, plus a full weekend of setup/dress rehearsal. The Hauptman has declared that you must attend 2 rehearsals plus dress rehearsal in order to participate in the CTRF Robin Hood faire, so please, mark your calendars and we hope to see you there!
Rehearsal #1 - Saturday March 27th
(Easter/Passover weekend off)
Rehearsal #2 - Saturday April 10th
(Marching Through Time weekend off)
Rehearsal #3 - Saturday April 24th
Dress rehearsals - Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd
CTRF Dates are 3 weekends, May 8th - 23d.
(Dates are up on the Guild calendar already)

I'm assuming that even if folks aren't planning on doing this event they are encouraged to go to the rehearsals?

Oh heck yeah! We'll be practicing drill and learning more history. Stephen, Alena, Tom, and Amanda attended a first person reenator conference three weeks ago and have some very interesting ideas to share with the group. We'll be working on accents and character development. By all means, if you can make the trip come on down!

I will try to make as many as I can. Unfortunately I wont be able to attend Spring CTRF this year but I can always use more practice . Also great job scheduling, everything except dress is on my weekend off.

The place we had rehearsals before is willing to have us back! So I assume we're going back there unless otherwise stated.

I am going to try and come to some of the rehearsals too. The first and hopefully the third. Not sure if I can do the spring faire or would be ready by then…but at least I can make a couple rehearsals and start working on things for fall. So, at least one newbie in attendance.

Ummm… just wondering, but are the rehearsals really going to be at 7pm? Because that's what the calender has them at. I'm hoping you mean 7 am for beginning time, and I'm going to guess that we'd be leaving about the same time as we did for the fall CTRF 09?

Welcome Brittney! We're glad to see new faces, and whichever rehearsals you can make will be good. I also can't wait to see pictures/sketches of what you have in mind for a costume!
Wulfram, last year rehearsals started at 9 am. I can not imagine those of us driving from far away are going to leave our houses any earlier than we did last year for a rehearsal.

Sorry I have not checked in for such a long while.
I should be able to make all the dates here accept March 27. I already have an event I am attending.
I'll double check my schedule on the other dates.
I am hoping to make 2 out of the 3 weekends for the ctrf may event, the first and the last.
