I want to know if we have enough interest to do this as a group this year or not. So, are you planning on Pennsic? Here's the link:

I would love to do Pennsic, but have always been overwhelmed by the thought of doing it solo. Going with a group would be great!

The price list is confusing me. I assume we will pre-register, and I assume we are all paying our own way. Are there thoughts for both weeks or just one? Everyone be aware that this is a full week (or 2) event, not just the weekends.
At this point I would like to say I would love to go for one or both weeks, but its a long way off to decide if I will have the money to afford it. So put me down as an I-want-to-but-not-positive-yet

Since this is not an actual guild event, yes, everyone would be paying thier own way. You don't have to go for both weeks, though if we do go, then someone in the group would have to be there on site for both weeks. But that is a discussion for a much later date.
It is a really good idea to pre-register, because the camp is alloted a certain amount of space based on the number of folks who pre-register. So if you do not pre-register, we would loose out on space. Luckily we have until the beginning of June to pre-register, but those of us who would be taking time off will need to arrange vacation time before June.
I think it would be fun to go, though very different from any of our other events!

I try to go to Pennsic every year. I do however already belong to a household and my first Pennsic comittment is theirs. That said, my future there is not 100% depending on my ability to keep fighting with them and may change if I cannot.
On top of that, there is never a 100% guarantee I can gt the time off from work. This year the week is already closed for me so unless someone drops it I will not be attending and may not know till last minute if I can.
But I think it is a great idea for the guild to give it a try sometime. If not this year then maybe next year.
I would also suggest that if any of you have friends that already go and belong toa group, see if they have space for a few more and try and get everyone pre-registered with them instead of staying in singles camping. There are many reason for this and I would be happy to go over them if anyone is interested at a later date.
