Why, Why do other events always happen on the days I can't go! Sigh. I have my first show at the college running and striking that day.

I would love to go, but don't have any time available to take off  for travel on Friday or Monday so I think I will have to pass. If that changes I'll let you know, but looks like I am out as well

Julie, your initial email made it sound like it might be a 1-day event, just open on Saturday, with Sunday being pack-up. Is that the case?

I can do it! My Friday class ends at 11:45 (am), so I just need to find a ride with someone! I can meet you somewhere if need be.

Further info, including some solid time frames. We NEED definite responses this weekend if at all possible!

Friday - 11/5 - Drive to Lehigh. Exact timing will depend on who is going. I have taken off, personally, but understand if others cannot. We will have help for setup. # of tents will depend on who goes.

Saturday - Soft rising (no drums), day to look roughly like this:

Sunday - Activity in the morning, teardown in early afternoon, putting us on the road, hopefully, around 2ish, back home 7 or 8pm, depending on who goes.

As far as food is concerned, we have been invited to eat with the KDT (http://www.rennenactor.org/KurrieredesTodes/) and will kick to them some money to help out. There’s no expectation of this, more of a donation style, near as I can tell. If we care to take anything with us, they would welcome it. Maybe we truck Ciara’s churn and make some butter? I am certain our Frauen will be welcome in the kitchen to help out.

I would like to take only the truck since we need not tote our cooking gear. We will need a second vehicle as well for people transport. We will discuss further this weekend.

Yay for more information! Yay for Kris joining us! The schedule has taxed my German ability, but I am interested to note that google translates the evening activity as: “Drinking and suffering around the campfire” Should we bring Glukhaus?

My main point of worry is, as usual, food. So we'll be in camp for at least 4, possibly 5 meals: 2 breakfasts, and lunch & dinner on Saturday, possibly lunch on Sunday. I assume we'll need to bring our own feast gear for eating. I'm cool with churning butter on Saturday morning, but it is Chiara's churn. I've got compost still left in the fridge, so I volunteer to bring that! Is there any way to contact their cooks to find out what it would be helpful to have us bring/pitch in with? I'd be happy to freeze up some pease pottage etc. if they are okay with that sort of thing, and have the pots we can use. 

so with 6, possibly 7 people, we'll need at least 2 tents. Probably it would be more comfortable with 3 tents, but it depends on how much room there is in the truck. I really really wish I had a fold-up chair!

I doubt I can get the time off on Friday since I'm running out of vacation days. If everyone else manages to get it off though I'll see what I can do.

Actually, I think Julie is planning a detour there on Sunday for folks who travel in her car.
