Landsknecht Guild

For those of you who aren't on the German Renn Costume Yahoo group.

There is an exhibit, Mercenaries and Turks, at the Museum Boijmans in The Netherlands, that has 20 colored prints of landsknechts, and 18 colored prints of Turkish soldiers. 

I wrote the museum and they sent me the exhibit flier, but the pictures are thumbnail size.  Someone posted a set of photos of the exhibit to Flickr with some of the pictures, but they are larger than the ones I have in the flier.

If you've ever wondered just HOW colorful a landsknect soldier can get, you've got to check these out.  The print on the cover of the flier shows a soldier wearing six or seven different colors.
