Thanks for the link!
While doing a follow up search on the artist (who turns out to be a woodblock carver), I found that the British Museum has quite a few woodcuts carved by this fellow. Don't be put off by the fact that other artists are part of this search, the same carver carved the woodcuts.
So, if you asked Santa for lots of Landsknecht woodcuts for the holidays, here you go..
EDIT - Argh, can't get the link to work.
Try this.

I’m going with the curled feather, considering there are so few examples of guys with long hair. This is a dangerous search!
Oh, and we need more (well, ANY) Leddergollaren!

Is this Provost image reversed or is he wearing a Katzblager on the right?

If the Provost is wearing his Katzbalger across his body, what you're seeing on the left could just be an incredibly ornate *endcap* to his scabbard, not the hilt?

But if he is wearing it across the front of his body, wouldn't the hilt need to be on his right to draw it? Assuming he is using the right? It looks like it is in front of him based on the Waffenrock and angle of the katzbalger.

It may be his katzbalger crosses behind his back, and that's the endcap. I'm trying to tell if his waffenrock, near his wrist, is in front of the sword or not.
