I think fish gutting would be more an option if we could catch fish as close to our camp as they seem to be able to. However I am perfectly happy to gut any fish that need it. It wouldn't be the first time.

I've already offered to do the chickens if we wanted to butcher in camp. But I think zombies freak kids out enough without having them see food coming from real looking animals. (Not that I really have a problem with that, but many parents and I am sure the faire would) I guess we can save that for when we do a just for re-enactors event.

I agree, the kitchen is amazing!  I love how the fire is not low on the ground and the bricks are built up around the fire.  Imagine what we could do with an oven.
